# 9.3 Asset Class Assignment Plugin

The **Asset Class Assignment** plugin is used to classify model families by automatically populating the **OmniClass Number** and **OmniClass Title** parameters based on data from the **Taxonomy File**.

## Functionality

Search functionality is available in both lists—model families and classification elements—using keyword input.

Family selection modes:

* **All in the Model** – the default mode displaying all elements in the model.
* **All in the View** – displays only elements visible in the current view.
* **All Selected** – enables selection of elements directly in the active view. After pressing **Finish**, only the selected elements will appear in the left-hand list.
