Part 1. Introduction to the Qsee Platform.
Qsee is a digital platform for centralized management of standards and information modeling requirements within an organization.
The platform provides a unified environment for creating, storing, and structuring regulatory documents, templates, and guidelines that cover all stages of a project's life cycle. As such, Qsee serves as a relevant and authoritative data source, ensuring a consistent approach to working with project information.
One of the core capabilities of the platform is the normalization of data from various sources. Information is standardized into a consistent format and presented in both machine-readable form—for automated compliance checks with project standards—and human-readable form—for visual analysis and verification of those standards.
It is important to emphasize that Qsee is not focused on high-level standardization such as OIR (Organizational Information Requirements) or EIR (Exchange Information Requirements), but rather on low-level standardization—specifically, the parameterization and data structure within the model itself. In its current implementation, the platform is integrated with Revit, but future development includes support for other CAD systems and the IFC format.
By leveraging Qsee, project teams can:
Maintain compliance with approved project standards
Automate the auditing of information models
Ensure accessibility of standards for specialists with varying levels of expertise
Reduce the number of errors and inconsistencies
Improve the quality of coordination
Minimize time spent on inspections and quality control
The platform serves as a single point of entry into the project's information environment, reducing barriers for participants and ensuring transparency across all stages of design and modeling.
