Part 4. Parameters and Data Classification.
This Part describes the mechanisms for working with classifiers and parameters in the Qsee platform. These tools are intended for systematizing data, structuring model elements, and configuring their properties according to project requirements.
Classifiers are presented as tables that allow objects to be grouped by categories and levels, as well as managed in terms of hierarchy and visibility. Procedures are outlined for creating classifiers, adding and deleting entries, configuring nested elements, and performing bulk data import.
Parameters define the properties of elements and provide flexibility in working with the model. The main parameter types and groups are presented, along with the rules for creating and editing them. Special attention is given to Revit parameters—both built-in and shared—that are integrated into the platform and expand the possibilities of working with models.
The final Part addresses mapping parameters to classifier elements. The resulting matrix establishes links between parameters and model data, ensuring the integrity of the project’s information structure.
In this way, Part 4 covers the complete workflow for classification tables, parameters, and their interconnections, forming a foundation for accurate organization and further processing of project data.
