Adding a New Parameter Group Type

4.2. Parameters

By default, the Qsee platform includes two main parameter groups — Revit Built-In and Revit Shared. If needed, additional parameter groups can also be created.

To add a new group, open the navigation menu and navigate to the Parameter Definition module, then go to the List of Parameter Groups section in the View Browser:

Editing mode is activated by clicking the Edit button in the top-right corner of the toolbar.

Once editing mode is enabled, the action menu becomes available. Click the + button to add a new ro

Fill in the Name and Description columns.

To save the changes, exit the editing mode by clicking Edit again.

Next, open the Parameter Groups table in the View Browser.

Activate editing mode once more by clicking Edit on the toolbar.

Properties for the new group are selected by placing dots in the relevant columns. This is done by right-clicking on a cell and choosing the Append command from the context menu.

To finalize and save the changes, exit the editing mode again by clicking Edit.
