Part 6. Project Data Preparation
At the project level, data models are created to store and display information relevant only to a specific project. These models typically include data on levels, rooms, worksets, phases, and other elements used within a single building.
The main objective is to ensure data consistency across different files and disciplines. For example, if multiple Revit models are used within one project, it is important that level names and elevations remain consistent across all of them.
Using the Qsee platform, data can be presented in a human-readable format and automatically validated for accuracy and relevance through integrated Revit plugins.
Creation and management of such models is done via the Account Admin → Data Models module. When setting up a model, the Modules column should be assigned a value of either Asset Data or Revit Project Standards. Renaming or deleting models is also possible within this module.
When a new project is created, the platform automatically generates standard data models such as Levels, Rooms, and Worksets, preconfigured with the required parameters for model auditing. These only need to be filled in with project-specific data.
In addition to manual input, Qsee supports importing and exporting data between Revit and the platform (specifically for Asset Data models). For instance, a list of equipment can be exported from Revit, filled out externally—even by those without access to the model—and then imported back into Revit.
As part of project data standardization, it is recommended to create a table containing all Worksets. This table helps ensure the relevance and consistency of worksets within a single project and is therefore placed at the project level.
To populate the table, navigate to the Revit Project Standards section using the navigation menu.

Then open the Worksets table. If the table is not listed, a data model with the same name must be created beforehand.

Once the table is opened, new rows are added and filled in according to the requirements for worksets defined in the project execution plan.
A plugin for automatic data transfer is planned for future implementation.
