To add parameters to the classifier

4.1 Classification Tables

To assign parameters to a classifier, editing mode must be enabled and the parameter assignment menu opened by double-clicking the parameter cell of the relevant classifier.

  • Code – a unique identifier for a classifier entry. Each record must contain its own distinct code to ensure proper identification.

  • Title – the name of the classifier element. Duplicate titles are allowed within the same classifier table.

  • Level – a parameter that defines the hierarchical level of an element. Classifiers support a multi-level structure that includes sections, groups, and subgroups. Top-level elements are assigned level 1; elements with level 2 are considered children of level 1 entries, and so on.

  • Used – a parameter that controls whether specific classifier entries are displayed in mapping tables.

If the Status column is set to Used, the classifier entry is included in the mapping matrix. A value of Not Used excludes the entry from being displayed in the matrix.

When the Used status is applied to a higher-level entry, all child elements automatically receive the status Used Inherited. These entries are not displayed in the mapping matrix but inherit the parameters of their parent.

To add new elements, the required number of rows is inserted first, followed by filling in the Code and Title parameters.

Note: All entries created this way are assigned level 1 by default, which cannot be changed.

3

To add a child entry, the context menu is opened by right-clicking the target row and selecting Add Child Row. The new row will be placed one level below the original.

4

The inserted row is automatically placed one level below the original.
