11.2. Revit Model
Part 10. Model Audit.
This section is intended to identify the use of prohibited modeling methods. The analysis is based on practical modeling experience and is not connected to the functionality of the Qsee cloud platform. The Model Audit plugin performs checks under the Revit Model category in the following areas:
Groups – Analyzes the use of model groups. Displays the number of instances and the element types within each group to assess modeling efficiency.
Mirrored Elements – The audit analyzes mirrored instances of families, which may result in the creation of non-existent types. It identifies mirrored family instances and helps prevent errors associated with this process.
Drafting Elements – Displays a list of all views and sheets that contain annotations. The audit checks for the presence of lines, text, filled regions, and imported files. It also allows quick navigation from the interface to the relevant view.
CAD Links – Provides comprehensive information about all imported or linked CAD files in the model. Users can select a CAD file and navigate directly to the view where it is located. This is a valuable tool for managing CAD content within the model.
Images – Allows users to analyze all images embedded in the model, including file size and placement across views.
Room/Space Separators – Enables auditing of room and space separators. Provides details on errors, level associations, construction and demolition phases, worksets, and whether the separator effectively defines any room or space.
